Please take this with a pinch of salt and tongue in cheek. I have been given a family tree for the Crump family which takes it back to 1541 and a marriage between Anthony Crompe and Jone (Joan) Harward. Going further back, another family tree has been published in a booklet: "The Crumps of Worcestershire and Gloucestershire" by Victor Crump and Joan Scott. This published tree was, I believe, the creation of WH Shawcross the Vicar of Bretforton in 1911.

The published part of the tree is rather simplistic and there are not enough generations. I have been adding dates found on the LDS but even these are not necessarily verifiable dates. But these dates show up a lack of generations.

Nevertheless, it is fun to think that descendants of our Crump line are directly related to Lady Godiva. At some point I will research this some more and publish here or if anyone else can help that would be useful.
